About Us

Bob Cotaling is a lifelong Norwalk resident who began his career in auto body repair over 25 years ago at Cotaling’s Auto Body, the family business his father, Fred Cotaling, founded in the early 1970’s. After over 20 years of managing the family business, he decided to open his own shop.

In September 2017, after 10 years on Main Avenue, Bob’s Collision center moved to its new location at 104 West Cedar Street. Bob has built a strong reputation and loyal following over the years, and hopes to service both old customers and new at his West Cedar Street location.

Bob’s Collision Center provides full service auto body repair services including collision repair, vehicle painting, frame straightening, computerized estimating, and computerized paint matching.

WARRANTY– Bob’s Collison Center guarantees our workmanship as long as you own your vehicle. Connecticut law requires you to get only one (1) estimate or appraisal. Do not be pressured or influenced by your insurance company regarding the choice of a repair facility. You are entitled by law, to take your vehicle to the repair facility of your choice. Let someone on your side negotiate with the insurance companies, not someone who works for them.
